Meet Joy Coach Shannon

Hi there! Welcome, I’m Shannon.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been that person strangers end up telling their life story to in line at the grocery store, the bank, or on random walks. I never ask. It just happens. Halfway through our conversations, they usually stop and say, “I don’t know why I just told you all that, but for some reason I feel better.”

Over time, I’ve come to understand that it’s my frequency.

I hold a frequency that lets people know they are safe to be themselves. Safe to speak their truths, their fears, and the parts they don’t always share out loud, without worrying about judgment. My presence naturally creates a space where people can show up honestly and heal at their own pace.

I don’t believe you have to be a certain kind of spiritual person to do meaningful inner work. I don’t follow rulebooks that say you have to eat a certain way, dress a certain way, chant a certain way, or live by someone else’s definition of “pure” in order to be intuitive, connected, or healed. I’ve trained and studied with many teachers over the years, took what resonated, questioned what didn’t, and created my own unique path.

I believe healing can be fun. When people relax and laugh a little, things shift faster.

I’ve been working professionally with energy and intuition for over two decades, long enough to know that joy matters, creativity helps us listen, and you already carry your own wisdom.

My role is to help you reconnect with it in a way that feels safe, grounding, and yes, fun.

At the heart of my work is permission.

Permission to be real.
Permission to be human.
Permission to heal.
Permission to be your authentic self.

If you’re looking for guidance and healing experiences that feel warm, personable, and playful, you’re in the right place.

A Few Playful Things About Me

  • I love colorful, quirky socks. Even if no one sees them, they make me happy.

  • Cats hold a sacred place in my heart. My favorite tarot deck is Cat Tarot.

  • I collect oracle and tarot decks like some people collect mugs. If you’ve got a favorite, tell me. I’m always looking for new ones.

  • When someone tells me their birthday, something unlocks. I start to see soul patterns, life cycles, and timelines that want to be acknowledged.

  • Creativity fuels me. I’m happiest when I’m painting, writing, or channeling a meditation with music in the background and my cat nearby.

  • I love cozy cafés. Give me a quiet booth, a warm drink, and a blank page, and I’m in my flow.

  • Everyday life becomes more fun when I turn it into a game. Whether it’s folding laundry or grocery shopping, I’m always looking for ways to bring play into it.

  • Oh, and yes, I can officially cross “perform stand-up comedy at a real comedy club” off my bucket list. I did my own set in front of a live audience.

When it was my turn, the MC said, “And now, to wrap up our evening, she’s been laughing the loudest in the audience all night long… Shannon.”

The adrenaline hit instantly. I headed for the stage, tripped, and landed flat on my back. The whole room laughed, thinking it was part of my act. A kind gentleman helped me up, and instead of using the stairs like a normal human, I rolled onto the stage, grabbed the microphone, and started my bit.

Maybe tequila wasn’t the best idea beforehand, but the laughter was absolutely worth it. 😉
